The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore is an educational board located in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Since Pakistan’s emergence on the world map, the University of the Punjab administered the examinations for Matriculation and Intermediate levels. However, with the introduction of the Punjab University Act (Amendment) Ordinance 1954, the Board of Secondary Education, Punjab came into being in the province. This board assumed control of Secondary, Intermediate, Pakistani & Classical Languages examinations previously conducted by the University.
